Default On the Money.

Good article Phil. It's a dead on description of the problems I've been having in my training here lately...

im trying to get my friends to have goals. Most of them are in the "Looking good nekid" mindset. I ask them why NOT make a goal? a specific goal thats not related to composition but althletic. "Im not an athlete" so... who cares? Neither am i. I used to play competitive sports (hockey). But that doesnt mean I cant set athletic goals. Set goals to... say... increase the number of pull ups you can do. Actively seek to improve your dumbbell press for more weight, or for extra reps for the same weight your used to. Hell... even learning a new exercise you have NEVER done before is a goal. And guess what? Youll probably improve your body comp in the process because your subjecting to new stimulus. Keep doing the same things over and over in hopes youll be ripped one day isnt a great mindset.

exactly Justin. The form (body) will follow the function. You concentrate to darn much on the body and its real easy to get side tracked and over whelmed.
